It’s Sunday and I realize I’ve fallen off the post wagon. What happened? Did my laptop get stolen? No, I’ve just been doing my homework. I’mattending this awesome university called U of Me, but I admit I’ve been distracted too.
It’s hard not to be with the season of holidays in full swing! I’ve been planning the next steps for BudgetStrong.com and how I can make it stronger. One thing I realized is that it’s sooooo time consuming!If I had More Money I’d buy time! Huh? Money can’t buy time, it’s an intangible thing. True, but I could buy someone else’s time. This purchase power is only valuable once each dollar earns another. Similar to how some companies will match you dollar for dollar into your 401k or an income property builds you passive income.
Time is an invaluable asset because once time is gone, it’s gone. Money can buy you time if you want to take the next 6 months to learn to dance. Learn to drive an awesome race car or travel the world to simply learn about who you are. Time is precious.

My wife can tell you that I’m passionate about a lot of things (ok, maybe not dancing), but I have a lot of time consuming passions that I really don’t have the proper amount of time to invest in. So what would I buy if I had a flow of passive income? I’d buy time! In reality that would mean buying income properties (in progress), developing new products for my business (in progress), but unfortunately this all takes what? Time.
