iTunes Description:

Are you preparing for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam? Have you ever thought of getting all the formulas under one roof? Then here it is. By this time you should be aware that about 10% – 15% of the PMP exam questions can be based on Formulas. Which means out of 200 questions, based on the question bank you get, a minimum of 10%, i.e. 20 questions can be based on the Formulas and if you are lucky, you can get up to 30 questions which requires Formulas to solve. Obviously the advantage of getting a formula based question on the exam is, you know with confidence that your answer is correct or not. This App is organized in such a way that you get enough hands on for all the formulas that can appear in the real exam.

The main features of this app are
✓ All Formulas you can expect on the PMP exam.
✓ Lot of questions on each section to make you feel confident.
✓ Detailed explanation of the formula.
✓ Detailed explanation about the Answer.
✓ Questions difficulty level are either close to or above exam level.
✓ Easy to navigate between different question category.
✓ Brain Dump sheet which you can use as a reference.
✓ No internet connection needed.

My Personal Review

I found this application to be great. If you are having a hard time mastering the PMP formulas or you need to study them on the go, this is the application for you. I think one of the best ways to learn, master, and memorize the formulas is by applying them. This application allows you to do that from almost anywhere.

The navigation of the apps interface is fairly simple and straight forward with a Home, Back, and occasionally a next button for navigating the application.  Once you load the application you will be brought to a menu that shows a selection of 8 project management topics that deal with equations. A screen shot of that can be seen below.

If you click on one of the selection it drills down to another menu where you will see the equations related to that area you chose. If you choose a particular equation you would like to practice you will be brought to another screen that presents you with an explanation of that equation. Under that explanation you will find the “question button”. By clicking on this button you are presented with a question in the area you chose.

Choosing an answer correctly or incorrectly gives you a window showing the correct answer. This app is handy to give you the ability to train yourself to master the formulas you might encounter on the PMP exam. The only down to this app is that some of the equations only have a few questions. So don’t expect to see a lot of variety in questions for each equation. None the less this app is a must have for anyone seriously trying to master the PMP formulas and need that to go option. Check it out on the iTunes app store.
