Envelope System
For some the budget envelope system is difficult to manage and can feel cumbersome to keep cash on hand. This is the budget envelope system without the envelope! Call me old fashion, but I like dealing with cash unless I have to buy something online. Yet, I’m always looking for ways to automate the process of money management. So when I discovered software that might help me to implement the system with out the physical envelopes I got really excited (geeky right?).
This software combines the best of both worlds, physical and intangible. It’s called EEBA (Easy Envelope Budget Aid). When I first came across a video of it on youtube I thought this is probably something one of Dave Ramsey‘s kids would use. This is the budget envelope system without the envelope for those of you who like the idea, but want an alternative to the physical management of cash.
